MG Baltic is one of the largest groups in Lithuania, involved in production, sales, real estate, construction and mass media industries. At the time being, the Group manages the holdings MG Baltic Trade, MG Baltic Investment and MG Valda, which, on their turn, control companies that totally employ around 3800 people.

 

 In numerous successful investment projects, the MG Baltic Group has acted in a team with other investors. An excellent example is the selling of part of the shares of Apranga APB to the public market. Much of the success was contributed – and shared with afterwards – by the East Capital fund. It acquired 5% of the shares, the price of which has doubled during the year 2004. Another instance was the acquisition of LNK television (a leading TV channel in Lithuania). Amber Trust fund has contributed 20% of the acquisition value and it did not have to regret this investment. The sales of LNK have increased by 25% and the profit leaped by 70% during the year 2004.
