In 2009, the MG Baltic group companies were operating in six business sectors.
 
Retail trade: During the year 2009, Apranga group  closed 13 stores, covering an area of 8.1 thousand sq. m. and 6 stores were reorganized into new concepts with a total area of 2.2 thousand sq. m. On December 31, 2009, the Apranga APB company group held a network of 109 operating stores and 63.4 thousand sq. m. sales area  in the Baltic States.
 
Production and trade in consumer goods:  Stumbras AB introduced new products to the market: vodkas Extra, Millennium Lituae and Jagiello, spirited drink Gloria Le Citron, bitter Ekstraktas, and others. Mineraliniai Vandenys UAB distributes about 30% of the products manufactured by Stumbras AB. The company also imports and distributes over 1000 brands of alcoholic beverages from across the entire world in the Lithuanian market. The company‘s partners are world-famous producers represented by such trademarks as Moet & Chandon, Metaxa, Scottish Leader, Camus, Hennessy, Antinori, Baron Philippe de Rothschild, SA. The company also distributes tobacco products from British American Tobacco Nordic and Japan Tobacco International, food products and commodities of other global companies. Tromina UAB:  provides the major part of its services to the group companies – Mineraliniai Vandenys UAB and Stumbras AB. These services make up about 70 % of all the services provided by Tromina UAB.
 
Media: According to data by TNS Gallup, LNK total TV audience share in 2009 was 20.7 per cent, prime – time share was 24.7 per cent. Alfa Media UAB:  according to Company data, in 2009, the average number of unique visitors of alfa.lt increased by 69 per cent and reached 951 thousand per month. Also, the average number of page views doubled in 2009 and reached 17 million per month. UPG Baltic UAB overtakes some well known magazines from weaker competitors, as well as strenghten the positions of its already well established brands. Also, UPG Baltic UAB is expanding its operations to the internet: online portal for men Tik Vyrams is succesfully operating for over one year now, crossword portal ohomanija.lt and magazine retail portal zurnalai.lt were recently launched. According to data by TNS gallup, magazines published by UPG Baltic take up 35 per cent of once per month released magazines. The Mediafon UAB supports nearly all the TV polls and other television IVR service projects in Lithuania. The company uses the most advanced technologies to reduce costs and enable efficient operation such as Thomson and IBM. Mediafon UAB was the first in the Baltic States, and the third in Eastern Europe to install this level of technical facilities. 
 
 Real estate management and development: In 2009 the MG Valda group portfolio of leased property increased, and by the end of the year, the group controlled over 100,000 sq.m. of office space, commercial premises, warehouses, hotels and other property. In 2009, the construction of the multifunctional North Star complex, which started in 2008, was finished. Over LTL 110 million was invested in the complex consisting of a business centre (19,484 sq. m.) and a residential building (9,965 sq. m.) opened in Šiaurės miestelis in 2009. In 2009, the construction of the residential building Sand house was also finished. In total, about LTL 23 million was invested in this residential building of 5,200 sq.m. total area.

Manufacturing: Biofuture AB: in 2009, project for expanding company’s production capacity, which was started in 2006, was finished. As a result, company’s production capacity was increased from 16,000 to 40,000 tons a year.
